Care Guide

Cleaning:

Cleaning is key in keeping your wooden watch looking good. All wooden watches offered by us are 3ATM water-resistant, however you should avoid exposing your wood watch to running water for an extended period, or submerging in water. This is a natural watch and natural wood absorbs moisture, which can cause the wood to warp.

Clean regularly with a soft cloth to remove dirt and dust that build up on the watch's exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive material, this can scratch or tarnish the wood.

Storage:

Store your sustainable watch properly when not in use to avoid chips or scratches. Correct storage will protect your wood watch from damage and maintain a pristine appearance. Your new eco-friendly watch comes with a recycled watch box for storage.

Protect your wood watch from extreme temperatures to prolong its life-span. The wooden watches available through us are crafted from natural wood that can be affected by extremes of temperature and humidity. While each watch is properly finished and coated, however naturally wood can absorb moisture, warm or split in extremes. Avoid leaving in direct sunlight for long periods, next to heaters and radiators, or in extreme cold conditions.

Other considerations:

Watches are sensitive to magnetic fields. Keep your sustainable watch away from magnets, exposure can affect their functionality. Regular servicing will help prolong the lifespan of any watch including your natural wood watch. Take it to a professional watch shop or service centre for repairs and servicing as required.
