National Trust hexagon insect house
10% OFF your first order when you subscribe to our newsletter
The National Trust hexagon insect house will make a great addition to any garden, balcony or outdoor area. It is beautifully designed and will offer shelter to a variety of insects that can be beneficial to your garden, for example solitary bees (a non-stinging species) like to use the holes to lay their eggs in.
Insects are integral to achieving a balanced ecosystem in your garden. Species such as ladybirds and lacewings will help to control aphids, and bees deliver an essential pollination service. You can encourage a wide range of beneficial insects into your garden by providing nesting sites and refuges.
Simply place the National Trust hexagon insect house in a sheltered spot, preferably between vegetation, or hang on a nail no higher than 2 metres from the ground.
CJ Wildlife
Founded in 1987 on a farm in rural Shropshire by cousins Chris and Ben Whittles, CJ Wildlife is proud to be the market-leading manufacturer and distributor of foods, feeders, and nest boxes for garden wildlife in the UK.
Thanks to extensive research led by their wildlife experts, the range of bird food on the market in the UK has significantly increased since CJ Wildlife was founded more than 35 years ago. Today, over 80 bird species are being fed in gardens, compared to just 18 when they started their company!
