Product Details

This backpack features two external buckles which are secured with a convenient popper. Inside, secured by a zip, a spacious lined compartment for all your books or travelling essentials, and an internal pocket. A padded cushion section and securing elastic strap are perfect for devices up to 17 inches. Externally you’ll find two large leather pockets on either side, big enough for your water bottle and umbrella, as well as a large pocket. The bottom corners are reinforced with thick buffalo leather, making your backpack durable.

The canvas shoulder straps are sturdy and adjustable for comfortable carrying.

The buffalo leather is treated with natural oils to keep it protected, water-resistant, and to give it a rich, deep brown finish. While it’s a hard-wearing leather the character is such that there may be a map of small creases, marks or blemishes telling the tale of its travels. As it ages it will naturally become softer and slightly darker.

Each Paper High bag is delivered to you in a complimentary cotton dust bag, for extra protection when not in use.

Please note that each product is unique and possesses distinct traits as a result of its handmade nature.

Approx. dimensions: 40 × 45 cm

Care Instructions

Each product features distinct buffalo, cow, and goat leathers that are luxurious with a unique look and feel. As recycled materials, they possess individual character and may exhibit minor blemishes.

  • The leather is water-resistant and designed to resist moisture. If it gets wet or dirty, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and let it air dry naturally. Avoid harsh cleaning agents that may damage the leather’s finish.
  • To preserve leather’s colour and suppleness, apply petroleum jelly with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners to maintain its natural texture.

Sustainability

Sustainability

All their products are created with planet-friendly materials wherever possible. You’ll find paper made from cotton rags salvaged from the waste of the Indian garment industry, and photo frames crafted from elephant dung.

They also minimize their carbon footprint by importing goods by sea rather than air whenever possible, and they offset their carbon emissions every time they visit their producers.

All of their packaging is fully recyclable – even the bubble wrap! They reuse the boxes from suppliers to pack wholesale orders, and you might notice that they’re filled with shredded junk mail and wastepaper.
