Crisp and refreshing, this vibrant pinot grigio is bursting with citrus zest. This fun and flavoursome crowd-pleaser is the perfect all-rounder; great on its own or perfect with food. Always a favourite, this Sea Change pinot grigio is a wonderful example of this popular grape variety from Northern Italy. Famed for its bright citrus flavours, zippy acidity and refreshing minerality, it is easy to see why pinot grigio is so in demand. Far from the warmth of the Mediterranean, it is the alpine climate of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region that gives Sea Change pinot grigio the freshness that we all love. It’s also the reason why it is such a good food match, or to keep it simple, served ice cold whilst basking in some warm summer sun!

Tasting notes

Sea Change pinot grigio is full of bright citrus fruit: the zest of ripe lemons is married beautifully with the delicate floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine’s lively acidity and underlying minerality make it mouth-wateringly moreish. Great to pair with food or simply just to enjoy chilled on a hot day.

Environmental benefits

Porpoises are very sensitive to changes in their marine environment. Often living around harbours, they can be more exposed to human disturbances than other marine mammals. By purchasing this Sea Change pinot grigio, you are directly helping organisations like Clean Coasts in Ireland fund community programmes that mitigate human impact to protect and care for our waterways, coastline and marine life.

About the brand
Sea Change

Sea Change wanted to combine their love of great wine with a desire to do something to help protect our oceans. Turning the tide on the juggernaut that is plastic pollution is only going to happen if we all make changes, even small ones, and this is where the wine you choose can play a role. With the removal of the unnecessary plastic wrap around the cork, the use of renewable plant-based closures and the paper for the labels coming from certified sustainable forests and made partially from grape waste, combined with a donation to marine charities from every bottle sold we think choosing Sea Change does make a difference.
